All Information On This Page Relates To KINTO Rent – While You Wait Program.

Toyota is committed to ensuring the best possible experience while you’re waiting for your new Toyota to arrive. Toyota has partnered with KINTO to create an attractively priced rental program should you require a vehicle in the interim (“KINTO Rent – While You Wait”). To access this program, you will need to provide KINTO your current Toyota vehicle order number.

KINTO is a digital, self-service and keyless access user experience powered by the KINTO app. Pay for the time you book and distance you travel, plus any extras. All bookings include fuel, insurance and 24/7 Roadside Assist, you simply use the provided fuel card to re-fuel when required. There are no location or credit card surcharges and insurance excess reduction is available.

A Duration and Distance Fee is applicable to your booking. The Distance Fee covers the use of the fuel card and is equivalent to the average fuel consumption of the model of vehicle being used.

1. Is insurance included?

Insurance is included with KINTO however excess fees apply.

The insurance excess for KINTO Rent – While You Wait bookings will vary depending on the driver’s age and vehicle category. This is listed below.

*Insurance reduced excess is only available for approved Kinto Rent - While You Wait bookings. Terms and Conditions apply.
**Excess reduction fee of $11 per day to be applied to the Duration Fee.

2. Are there any restrictions to booking length?

There is a minimum 1-day and maximum 364 day rental period for the KINTO Rent - While You Wait Program.

3. When can I make a booking?

Once your application has been approved, contact KINTO with your Toyota vehicle order number and KINTO will make a booking on your behalf.

4. Can I extend, cancel or end my booking myself?

Yes, please refer to the standard FAQ’s for booking management.

5. Can I make multiple short bookings under the program and change vehicles?

Yes, as long as the bookings do not overlap. All bookings will have to be made by KINTO.
