How It Works
1. Sign up for the KINTO app
Download the KINTO car hire app, create your account, and wait for your membership to be approved (allow 3-24 hours). Current members can just open their KINTO app.
2. Add the Promo Code to claim your free rental
When booking your car for a service at a participating Toyota dealership , ask the service representative for the service loan vehicle promo code. You can add this under the Promo Codes menu in your KINTO app.
3. Book a bZ4X service loan car located at the dealership
The promo code allows you to hire a Toyota bZ4X EV for free*, for up to 2 days. Make your booking for the dates and times required through the KINTO app .
4. Pick up and unlock with your phone
Locate the bZ4X at your participating dealership and use the KINTO app to connect, unlock, and start your journey.
5. Return when you’re done
Bring the car back to the same location, ensure all belongings have been removed and the car has been locked via the app, then you’re all set to pick up your usual car.

Thanks to participating dealerships, your first bZ4X service loan vehicle booking is complimentary, when you use the promo code they supply. After your first booking, you can hire the bZ4X Service Loan Vehicle again from participating dealerships for just:
- $14 per hour; or
- $99 per day

The Toyota bZ4X Service Loan Vehicles are available to book for a minimum of 3 hours and up to a maximum of 2 days.
1. Where can I get a bZ4X service loan vehicle?
Available at participating dealerships only. Check the KINTO car hire app or speak to your local Toyota dealership to confirm availability.
2. How does charging work for the bZ4X?
The Toyota bZ4X comes with a Mode 2 cable for home charging. For public charging stations, the bZ4X supports Mode 3 for faster charging. bZ4X service loan cars will be provided with at least 50% charge, if not speak to the dealership.
3. Will I still be charged a distance fee?
As the bZ4X is an all-electric vehicle, KINTO does not charge a distance fee. Each full charge can last up to 535 km and is included in your booking fee. For more info on the bZ4X and pricing, please get a quote or visit the bZ4X page.
4. Is insurance included in my bZ4X hire?
Yes, comprehensive insurance and roadside assistance are included. Users are responsible for any traffic violations or damage. For more information, please read our membership agreement.
5. What does bZ4X mean?
‘bZ’ stands for Beyond Zero, which reflects Toyota’s net positive environmental impact promise. 4X refers to the size of the vehicle, with X standing for crossover SUV.
*Valid for single use on the first payment of your next bZ4X Service Loan Vehicle booking up to 2 days long, which must be created and completed on or before 31/10/2026.
