If you're looking for something fun to do, pack up a picnic and stroll down to Cleland Park. Named after Alderman William Cleland Junior, the Mayor of Willoughby from 1906-1907, who was also the first president of the School of Arts. This charming park has bbq facilities, a playground for the kids and tennis courts. Pack the footy and have a kick in the park and enjoy a lovely day in the sunshine.

Want to test your strength and agility? Climb Fit is an indoor rock climbing centre where you can. If it's your first time, they can show you the ropes, or if you're an experienced climber, there are plenty of challenging climbs to try your hand at. There are a few options to try. Indoor rock climbing includes being attached to a harness while you scale the walls, so it is a safe indoor activity. If you're a very experienced climber or have a lot of confidence, there is also bouldering, which means no harnesses or ropes to catch you, and it's just you and the wall.
Explore the Artarmon Reserve
Spend the afternoon at Artarmon Reserve, a nature reserve of 140 acres with native flora and bushland. Walk along one of the trails or cycle along the path, stop by the basketball court and throw a few hoops, take a picnic to enjoy or have a BBQ using the facilities on site. There is also a playground for the kids and cricket practice nets to get some bowls in. The Artarmon Reserve is a superb place to get some exercise.
If you're in search of a fantastic beach in the area, Balmoral Beach is one to check out. This stunning harbour beach is perfect for swimmers and snorkelers with its calm, clear waters. Lay on the beach with a book, build a sandcastle, and relax in the sun. The area also has many trails and walking tracks to explore, including one from Balmoral to Middle Head, which includes a fantastic lookout location overlooking the water with panoramic views. Additionally, there are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance from the beach with fresh seafood and other delicious eats.
Visit the Zenith Theatre
The Zenith Theatre in Chatswood is a great spot to see a live performance. The performances vary from classical music, piano and guitar solos, musicals of well-loved family favourites, jazz, plays and dance concerts. Take a look to see upcoming events, so you don't miss out.
Holey Moley is mini golf with a difference. Tee off and make your way through the 18-hole indoor mini golf course.
