Frankston Beach & Waterfront Boardwalk
Stroll along the Frankston Waterfront Boardwalk and take in the fantastic ocean views. The 3-kilometre boardwalk runs along the beach to protect the dune system below and is a superb spot to cycle or walk along and take in the gorgeous water views. If you want to swim, this is a great location to take a dip, paddleboard, or splash among the waves. There is plenty of space to spread out along the golden sandy shores, build sandcastles and lounge in the sun on a warm day, and when you've worked up an appetite, there are cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the beach.
Frankston Nature Conservation Reserve
Explore the 98 hectares of parkland in the Frankston Nature Conservation Reserve. This site plays a vital role in the preservation of native flora and fauna, so it is a perfect location to discover some native species. Walk or cycle around the length of the reserve on the 5km loop. While on the paths, keep an eye out for some of the wildlife that calls this reserve home. If you're lucky, you might see echidnas, Blue-Tongue Lizards, frogs, a few species of bats and more. If you have a boat or kayak, there is a boat ramp near the car park for easier access so you can explore the reserve from the water too. Visit McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery
The McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery is located just outside of Frankston. This gallery is set on 16 hectares of bushland with an expansive collection of art to see. This extensive display of art includes over 100 sculptures and statues spread across the grounds in a unique open-air environment. Explore the park and gallery and spend time browsing the exhibitions or join a guided tour that lasts about an hour and learn from an expert about the art, the gallery and its history. George Pentland Botanic Gardens
In need of a nature escape? The George Pentland Botanic Gardens has you covered. With a beautiful ornamental lake to lounge by, walking tracks to get some exercise and gardens to wander through covered with lots of native plants and vegetation, it's no wonder these garden landscapes are an excellent location to spend time in nature. Additionally, there are picnic tables and a BBQ on site, so you can bring a tasty lunch with you and enjoy it with a gorgeous view. In the north of the park, there is a big playground for the kids to run about and enjoy making this the perfect spot for families.
Crystal World Exhibition Centre
Crystal and fossil lovers unite! Crystal World Exhibition Centre is a massive location jam-packed with a diverse range of rare geological samples and other specimens. There are roughly 400 tonnes of fantastic specimens to check out. At Crystal World, you will be able to find a combination of rare crystals, Fossils, Meteorites, Gems and Minerals. A lot of this mesmerising display is available for purchase, so if you find a piece you don't want to leave behind, you don't have to. The exhibition of all these items are for educational experiences also, and you can learn more about the pieces on display.
General Public Frankston
If you're looking for a fun night out, don't look past General Public Frankston. This hotspot is perfect for an entertaining date night or a great place to hang out with friends for a drink and a game or two. General Public serves up a range of delicious burgers, tasty savoury meals, a wide selection of beer and wine and speciality cocktails. There are two levels of entertainment, two stocked-up bars, and plenty of activities to pick from. Ignite some friendly competition with a game of tenpin bowling, pool tables to practise your cool trick moves, and all the best retro and new arcade games to try out. Located in Beauty Park in the heart of Frankston, the Little Beauty Market is described as a celebration of arts, crafts, design, food and culture. When you come to the Little Beauty Market, you can expect to see about 100 stalls of local art, handmade crafts, unique homewares, farm fresh produce from local growers, vintage fashion, a bar with peninsular brewed beer and cider and more. Not to mention there are many stalls cooking up hot savoury food that will have your mouth watering, and there's face painting for the little ones too.

Take your adventure to a new height with Grand Tree Surfing, a tree-top climbing challenge with 5 levels of challenging aerial obstacles to tackle. There is also Nippers Tree Surfing for the little ones to experience the thrill of aerial obstacles too. Within the parkland, there are several mazes that twist and turn to find your way through, puzzles to solve, and many manicured gardens to stroll in and explore.
